Maggie C. Gosselin has been defending individuals and organizations who have been sued since 2003, with a particular focus in medical malpractice, nursing home, personal injury, premise liability and construction site injuries. Maggie is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and the U.S. District Courts for both the central and northern districts of Illinois.
Maggie is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law, where she served as Commentary Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Legal Medicine. She also published a student commentary within the journal titled Medical Expert Witness Bias Due to Commonality of Insurance. Maggie later presented on this top at the 2007 annual meeting for the American College of Legal Medicine.
Maggie has successfully tried cases before judges, juries and arbitration panels. She has reached settlements in numerous other cases. She has successfully presented dispositive motions for many clients, earning dismissals and summary judgment before a trial on the merits.
