Elizabeth R. Uribe is an associate who joined Stone & Johnson Chartered, in 2020 handling construction law and premises liability matters. Elizabeth brings with her many years of civil litigation experience representing individuals and businesses in state and federal courts throughout Illinois. During her career, Elizabeth has represented both plaintiffs and defendants, giving her a comprehensive perspective on litigation strategy and client advocacy.

Elizabeth earned her undergraduate degree, with honors, in sociology and legal studies, as well as a certificate in criminal justice, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005. After working as a legal assistant for a solo practitioner for two years, Elizabeth started law school at Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated cum laude and earned pro bono recognition with highest distinction for her work with undergraduate students and immigrant communities. Elizabeth was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois in 2010 and the State of Wisconsin in 2019. She is also admitted to the Northern District of Illinois, the Central District of Illinois, and the Southern District of Illinois.
