Mary B. Marcin
Mary received her law degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University and a Master of Science degree in Criminal/Social Justice from Lewis University. She is a member of the Illinois Bar and is admitted to practice in the Northern District of Illinois and the United States Supreme Court. Mary also serves as an arbitrator with the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration Program and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association.
Mary has extensive litigation experience, having practiced in both the public and private sectors. Throughout her career, she has successfully defended clients in numerous cases involving personal injury, commercial and residential construction, product liability, premises liability, mold, lead, latex, toxic chemicals, and asbestos injury and abatement, as well as municipal/government entity and Tort Immunity Act defense. She also has years of experience in civil and criminal prosecutions, appeals, subrogation, collections and coverage.
Mary also serves as a judge at the regional competitions for the annual American Mock Trial Association National Tournament, and has taught law courses for several years as an adjunct professor at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
